These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website webvu.com.au and the services provided by Castle IT Consulting Pty Ltd (ABN 58 621 382 616), trading as Webvu("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Services

Webvu provides domain name registration and related services. We act as a reseller through accredited registrars (currently Synergy Wholesale) and comply with applicable registry policies, including those of auDA for .au domain names.

Some services listed on our website (including web hosting, SSL certificates, and Microsoft 365) may be marked as "Coming Soon" and are not yet available for purchase.

2. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You must be at least 18 years of age to use our services.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Domain Registration

3.1 Eligibility

Registration of .au domain names is subject to auDA's eligibility and allocation policies. You represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements for any domain you register through our platform.

3.2 Registrant Obligations

  • You must provide accurate registrant (WHOIS) information as required by ICANN and auDA.
  • You must promptly update your registrant information if it changes.
  • Domain names are registered on a first-come, first-served basis. We do not guarantee availability.

3.3 Domain Renewals

Domain registrations are for the period selected at checkout. You are responsible for renewing your domains before they expire. We will send reminder emails, but it is ultimately your responsibility to ensure timely renewal.

4. Pricing and Payments

  • All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST unless otherwise stated.
  • Payments are processed securely via Stripe. We do not store your credit card details.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing at any time. Price changes do not affect existing paid registrations.

5. Refund Policy

Due to the nature of domain registration (domains are registered instantly with the registry), domain registration fees are generally non-refundable once the domain has been successfully registered.

Refunds may be considered at our discretion in cases where:

  • A domain registration failed due to a technical error on our part
  • You were charged in error (e.g., duplicate payment)

To request a refund, contact us at hello@castleit.com.au within 7 days of purchase.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use our services to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
  • Distribute malware, spam, or other harmful content
  • Engage in phishing, fraud, or deceptive practices
  • Register domains in bad faith (e.g., cybersquatting)

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violations of this policy.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, our liability for any claim arising from or related to these Terms or our services is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Domain registration is subject to registry availability and third-party systems outside our control.

8. Dispute Resolution

Domain name disputes (e.g., .au domain disputes) are handled through the relevant registry dispute resolution procedures, including auDA's .au Dispute Resolution Policy (auDRP).

For other disputes, we encourage you to contact us first at hello@castleit.com.au to attempt resolution. These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on webvu.com.au — including text, graphics, logos, and software — is the property of Castle IT Consulting Pty Ltd or its licensors and is protected by Australian and international copyright laws.

10. Privacy

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

11. Modifications

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to our services at any time for breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use our services ceases immediately. Domain registrations that have already been completed will remain active for their registered term.
